According to the AAMFT Code of Ethics, what obligations do you, as the therapist, have to your clients?Explain

Confidentiality: 1) There are times that therapists receive calls from other professionals or client family members (who are not participating in the treatment process) asking questions about the therapy sessions. According to the AAMFT Code of Ethics, what obligations do you, as the therapist, have to your clients? Research the age of consent or treatment in the state of Florida. Report what you can tell parents, if anything, about treatment of their child who at or over the age of consent.
Decision-Making Model: 2) Review the Kitchner Model and the Koocher and Keith-Spiegel Model presented in Chapter 3, “Promoting Ethical Practice: Principles, Traditions, and Considerations,” in Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in the Practice of Marriage and Family Therapy, from this unit’s Studies.
For your initial discussion post, address the following:
>Apply one of these models to the ethical dilemma of receiving a call from a parent of a 14-year old child you are seeing as an individual client. Be sure to indicate in your response the age of the consent for treatment in your state.
>Go through each step of the chosen decision-making model and describe what actions and decisions you would make.
>Cite your ethical code, the applicable standards, and sub-standards.
