Learn about tiered integrative therapies for your chosen symptom in Section III (chapters 14-22) in your textbook. Do not read all the chapters of Section III, just the chapter that addresses the symptom you chose.
Using the table fill in the sections 1-5 integrative approach to the symptom (least invasive-most invasive)
Using the table of evidence (TOE) find two original research studies choosing one therapy in the tiered symptom management table. You may also choose 2 different therapies and provide one original research study for each.
Describe a comprehensive nursing plan managing the symptom addressing body, mind, and spirit dimensions. Integrate rationale for your assessment from literature in physiology, pathophysiology, psychology, sociology, and spirituality/ culture. Include in the nursing plan your rationale behind the patient-centered goals for the management of the symptom chosen.
Identify one SMART patient-centered goal for each one of the following dimensions: body, mind, and spirit (Total 3 goals).
Discuss your ideas of an integrative approach of your chosen symptom and patient population, considering the SMART goals you created.
Discuss your ideas for implementation of your integrative approach to symptom management as a leader in healthcare.
